No previous
convictions on

A non-EU

citizen
Be at least

Once the application was successful, investors were granted a Golden Visa for two years. In order to renew the Visa for the next three years, thus completing the required period, they had to visit Portugal for 7 days each year.
Funds of risk
Investments in funds investing in commercial organizations are more profitable, but also more risky. Only proven management companies participate in the Golden Visa program, and startups cannot participate.
The minimum investment amount here is 500,000€, the deposit can be returned after 5 – 7 years if you apply for citizenship.
At the moment, this is the one option that is effortless and that will make you profitable.
The qualifying funds are managed by fund managers accredited by the Portuguese Securities Market Commission (CMVM), Portugal’s regulatory body.
You can choose from the energy, industry, and technology sectors for the Portugal Golden Visa fund investment route. Remember that the Golden Visa investment funds cannot directly or indirectly pursue real estate activities.
Our manager will provide you with a list of reliable and verified funds that meet the conditions for applying for a Golden Visa and inform you about the conditions for each of them.

Visa
D7
D7 Visa -Portugal Retirement Visa or Passive Income Visa
The Portuguese government introduced a special type of visa in 2007: the D7 visa. It is also known as the Retirement Visa or Passive Income Visa.
uired to be eligible for this visa is an annual income of 8,460 euros, plus 50% of this amount for the spouse and 30% for each dependent child. This is regardless of the person’s country of origin.
This visa allows you and your family to reside legally in Portugal. It is designed to attract retired people and those living on passive income to reside in Portugal, in an effort to boost the economy. In addition, holders of this visa are not prevented from working in Portugal.
D2
D2 Visa -Entrepreneur visa
If you are:
Entrepreneurs can get a residence permit through the D2 Visa and benefit from the right to live in Portugal, as well as having visa-free travel access to other Schengen countries.
To be eligible for this D visa type of Portugal, you need to prove that you meet the requirements.
You must deposit in a Portuguese bank account and prior to the application a minimum of €9,120. In case of adding family members to the application, the following amounts must be added €4,560 /year for a partner and €2,740 /year for each child.
For instance, you will be expected to open companies in any sector, but you will not need to get approval from Portuguese business incubators. When you complete all the processes, you will be able to live in Portugal through Portugal D2 Visa.
D3
D3 Visa - Highly Qualified Activity Visa
The D3 Visa, also packaged as the Highly Qualified Activity Visa, is suitable for highly qualified foreign nationals across a range of specified industries and activities.
Management positions: as executives, officers and legislators; senior public administration officers, company directors; administrative and commercial managers; service and similar managers;
Experts in intellectual and scientific activities: such as engineers and scientists, teachers, health professionals, business professionals, information and communication technology specialists, cultural professionals and legal experts.
In order to be eligible to apply, you’ll have to meet at least one of three primary criteria:
Your annual wage must reach 3 times the IAS for each month (‘Indexante dos Apoios Sociais’ or Social Support Index), which in 2025 is 1x IAS = 522,50 euros. Or 1.5 x the Portuguese annual average wage.
In this case, the applicant’s annual wage total must be 21.945,00 euros (equivalent to 14 salaries) if under IAS, or 18.270,00 euros if under the Portuguese annual minimum wage rule.
Recommendation from our experiences for a single person, the value is the annual Portuguese minimum wage, 10.440,00 € and if you have dependents, the threshold changes accordingly.
*The IAS threshold, along with the Portuguese minimum wage, changes every year.
Or; You’ll need to hold a postgraduate qualification and/or professional certification in a regulated industry.
Or; You’ll need to hold a professional qualification that is highly specific and appropriate to a non-regulated profession.
NOTE: The so-called Tech Visa also falls under this category. Similarly, the concierge-style Highly Qualified Activity Visa, or HQA, for short, is issued on the same legal basis as the D3 Visa. But given that it serves the government’s objective of promoting R&D in Portugal, the minimum stay requirements associated with this visa program are as flexible as those associated with the Golden Visa Program.
D1
D1 Visa -Residence visa for work
This is the residency visa for professionals who have already accepted an offer of employment in Portugal. It is valid for stays longer than 12 months. It is important to note that you can only be employed in Portugal if the position was advertised and interviewed for, and if it could not get filled by hiring a Portuguese citizen, or a citizen of another EU country. This visa is NOT suitable for non-EEA nationals who are still looking for work in Portugal.
D4
D4 Visa -Residence visa for study
The D4 is Portugal’s student visa category for non-EEA nationals seeking to spend more than three months in the country for educational purposes (unless your country has an agreement with Portugal to waive this requirement). It is suitable for students, exchange students, professional internships and voluntary internships. If you’re coming to Portugal for study purposes for shorter than 90 days, however, you’ll have to apply for a C-Type Schengen Visa).
